Fourth of July Sale and Book Delay

We will be having a big sale this weekend the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th of July with 50% off of everything in the store except for new releases and on hold items. However, we will be closed the 4th of July because of the holiday. This also means that books will be delayed next week. Instead of coming in on the 7th, they will come in on the 8th. Hope everyone has a safe and happy Independence Day.

Memorial Day Means Delays

It's that time of year again! This weekend from May 1st to May 2nd, Saturday and Sunday, we will be celebrating Free Comic Book Day. There will be 10 (ten) free comics per person and we will also have a storewide sale going. 50% off of everything in the store except new comic books and on hold items. We hope to see you there!

Double Shipment on the 17th

Hello everyone. Due to the snowstorm, we were not able to get out to our store for the past week. So, on this upcoming wednesday the 17th, we will have a double shipment that will include the books we were not able to obtain on the 10th. We hope to see you then. Be safe.

Sad to say everybody, but because of the snow we will be closed wednesday the 10th. Hopefully as soon as the snow clears up we can reopen. Until then everybody, be safe and don't try to go out in this crazy weather.

Huge Holiday Sale

Sadly there will be no books coming in on the 30th of December but to make up for it we will be having a huge sale: 70% of of everything in the store, including trades, hardcovers, back issues, and action figures. It will run from December 27th to the 3rd of January, and of course it will not apply to new or on hold books. We hope to see you there!

Memorial Day News/ Comics on the 28th

Just a quick note to let everyone know we will be closed Monday the 25th for Memorial Day. We will reopen normally on Tuesday the 26th. Comic books will also be pushed back because of the holiday, meaning that books will not come in until Thursady the 28th.

Free Comic Book Day 2009

A big announcement from Comic Book Oasis. Free Comic Book Day is May the 2nd, this coming Saturday. There will be Ten free comics per person, and 50% off of everything in the store except new releases and special orders. The sale will go from Friday, May 1st throught Sunday May 3rd, with free books available on the 2nd. We hope you will join us here at Doug's Comic Book Oasis for this fun event.

Holidays Mean Comic Delays

Here it is, the schedule for upcoming comics:

Because of the Thanksgiving holiday comics will come in Thursday the 4th of December instead of Wednesday the 3rd. Comic books will come in normally on the 24th (Christmas Eve.) but we will be closed the 25th and 26th, so stop by early if you want to have some books to read for the long holiday weekend. Books will also be delayed because of the New Years holiday. We will be closed New Years eve and New Years day. New books will arrive Friday the 2nd of January. As a bonus for those who read this we will be giving 50% off of everything except new books/special orders on January 2nd. Just mention this entry to get your discount.
